How does Libta Coffee works ?

How does Libta Coffee works ?

Q1. How much does your coffee cost ?

A1.

Our coffee prices vary based on method of preparation, pack type, and subscription vs one-off purchase.

Prices start at RM35 for a pack of 10 drip bags, through to RM55 for a 250g pack of wholebean or ground coffee. There are two pack options: the Solo pack comes with one type of coffee (250g / 10 drip bags) and the Duo pack comes with two different coffees (2 x 125g / 2 x 5 drip bags).

We roast to order and only charge you on the day of roasting, so if you pause or reschedule your order before the roasting date, you won't be charged. And delivery is always free for coffee purchases. :)

All our payments go through Stripe and we accept all major cards including Visa, Mastercard, and Amex. For now, we don't take payments through Paypal or bank cheque.

Q2 Why is Libta coffee more expensive then supermarket ?

A1.

Well, as they say, the proof is in the pudding! All our coffees are specialty grade, traceable, and above Fairtrade rate was paid to our amazing farmers - we pay a premium for this quality and transparency. Most supermarket coffee is of a much lower commodity grade.

We hand-roast our coffees locally in Malaysia in small batches, giving each one a custom roast in order to bring out the unique flavours and qualities of each origin. We tend to roast lighter than supermarket coffee in order to retain the fruity flavours, as well as preserving the chocolatey and nutty notes we all love.

We also give a freshness guarantee that no store or supermarket can match – all our coffees are roasted to order and shipped within 48 hours of being roasted (except our LibtaPods which are instead nitrogen infused and hermetically sealed to preserve the freshness). Hence, Libta coffee have a roast on date, as opposed to a use by date. We don’t just want to sell you coffee. We want you to absolutely LOVE our coffee! So, we put our money where our mouth is, and offer a no questions, money back guarantee! :)

Q3. Why a Libta Coffee subscription?

A3.

Our coffee is available both on a one-off and subscription basis. But here are some reasons why a Libta Coffee subscription makes a great deal of sense...

The Problem

Coffee is something most coffee drinkers hate to run out of! So why not stock up on loads of your favourite beans? The problem is coffee begins to stale as soon as it's roasted. In order to experience coffee at Libta of its flavour, you need to drink it within a few weeks of roasting.

Our Solution

So that's where Libta's unique roast to order coffee delivery service solves this problem - by conveniently sending you one pack at a time of freshly roasted coffee at an interval that suits your needs. Our roast to order model means we don't stock inventory, enabling us to supply the freshest possible coffee, sent out within 48 hours of roasting.

We Believe in Flexibility

So while we offer a subscription platform, ours is not the rigid type that ties you into getting coffee you don’t want. You can easily pause, reschedule your next roast date, change coffee types, or cancel anytime from your Account Page. There's no advance payments or commitment and we bill you on the day of roasting only. We also send you a reminder email at least 2 days before your next roast date to give you chance to reschedule or make changes to your order. On top of this, if you do ever receive coffee you don’t want or like, we’ll give you a 100% refund.

Better Price & Discounts for Members

Libta Coffee subscribers also benefit by getting a better price for their coffee, about 10 - 15% cheaper than one-off orders. Also we provide our subscription members with great deals on brew gear, only available from the Libta subscription portal.

Q4. Can I cancel my subscription anytime?

A4.

Of course you can. We’d be sad to see you go, but we understand you may have other considerations. The easiest way is to log into your Account Page and click on the “Account” tab on the left and then scroll down to the bottom of the screen where you will find the “Cancel” button.
